Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Climacteric women; age between 40 to 65; diagnosis of metabolic syndrome according to the Joint Interim Statement (JIS) criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of lactose intolerance or cancer; women who have engaged in yoga practice within the current or past 12 months; women who have used probiotics within the current or past 3 months

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe a significant reduction (p<0.005) in the frequency of metabolic syndrome after the use of probiotics and/or yoga practices.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a significant reduction (p<0.005) in anthropometric parameters (weight, waist circumference, and body fat percentage) after the use of probiotics and/or yoga practices;It is expected to observe a significant improvement (p<0.05) in laboratory parameters (glucose, glycated hemoglobin, insulin, uric acid, and lipid profile) after the use of probiotics and/or yoga practices;To identify changes in microRNAs, circular RNAs, and long-chain RNAs after the use of probiotics and/or yoga practices
