This is a randomized, crossover study with two arms in which the subjects will be their own controls. A total of 20 adult individuals (men and women) who meet the eligibility criteria will participate
Session 2: resistance exercise protocol completed 1 hour before the usual bedtime
Session 3: without exercises 3 hours before the usual bedtime (control)
Session 4: without exercises 1 hour before the usual bedtime (control). In sessions 1 and 2, 7 exercises will be performed for the major muscle groups (1 - Squat with hexagonal bar
2 - Bench press with bar
3 - Horizontal leg press
4 - Pull-up with bar

Age
20 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Being between 20 and 55 years old; both sexes; doing resistance exercises more than 2 days a week

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cardiovascular, respiratory, osteoarticular diseases; use of medications; smoking

MeasureTime frame
A statistically significant mean difference of at least 1 hour in total sleep time (time between the start and end of sleep) is expected

A statistically significant mean difference of at least 10% in sleep efficiency (percentage of time asleep) is expected
