Design outcomes

| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 1 - It is expected to find an increase in physical performance with conventional and HD tDCS, evaluated by the time to exhaustion in a test in the cycle ergometer with fixed load at 80% of the maximum power reached in a progressive test of maximum effort, with a longer time compared to placebo condition;Outcome found 1 - There was no difference in time to exhaustion in a test on the cycle ergometer with a fixed load at 80% of the maximum power achieved in a progressive test of maximum effort between conventional and HD tDCS compared to placebo;Expected outcome 2 - It is expected to find an increase in physical performance with HD-tDCS, evaluated by the time to exhaustion in a test in the cycle ergometer with fixed load at 80% of the maximum power reached in a progressive test of maximum effort, with a longer time compared to conventional tDCS condition;Outcome found 1 - There was no difference in time to exhaustion in a test on the cycle ergometer with a fixed load at 80% of the maximum power achieved in a progressive test of maximum effort between conventional and HD tDCS | — |

| Expected outcome 4 - It is expected to find changes in the spectral power of the brain electrical activity, assessed using a 64-channel electroencephalogram, with increase in the spectral power of the frequency bands at rest in conventional and HD tDCS conditions as compared to the placebo condition ;Outcome found 4 - this outcome is still under analysis;Expected outcome 1 - It is expected to find a lower heart rate during exercise, assessed using a digital heart rate monitor, with lower values in submaximal intensities in conventional and HD tDCS conditions as compared to the placebo condition;Outcome found 1 - There was no difference in heart rate during exercise, assessed using a digital heart rate monitor, in any exercise intensity between conventional and HD tDCS compared to placebo;Expected outcome 2 - It is expected to find a lower ratings of perceived exertion, assessed using the Borg (6-20) perceived exertion scale, with lowed overall and for the legs perceived exertion in submaximal intensities in conventional and HD tDCS conditions as compared to the placebo condition;Outcome found 2 - There was no difference in ratings of perceived exertion, assessed using the Borg (6-20) perceived exertion scale, in any exercise intensity between conventional and HD tDCS compared to placebo;Expected outcome 3 - It is expected to find a lower percentage of associative thoughts during exercise, assessed using the Associative/dissociative thoughts scale (0-100%), with lower percentages of associative thoughts in submaximal intensities in conventional and HD tDCS conditions as compared to the placebo condition;Outcome found 3 - There was no difference in percentage of associative thoughts during exercise, assessed using the Associative/dissociative thoughts scale (0-100%), in any exercise intensity between conventional and HD tDCS compared to placebo | — |
