This study is a randomized, controlled, single-blind clinical trial, comprising a probabilistic sample of 86 patients diagnosed with metastatic cancer, adults aged 18 years or older. Participants will

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 years or older; diagnosis of metastatic cancer; pain intensity equal to or greater than four on the Visual Analog Scale for Pain; ability to communicate verbally; ability to understand and sign the Informed Consent Form; voluntary participation in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Presence of skin infections; contagious dermatoses; open wounds; burns; acute inflammatory processes in the hands; recent fractures or sprains of the hands; bone metastases in the hands; lymphedema; significant edema in the hands; severe localized pain in the hands that prevents the application of the intervention; presence of peripheral venous access devices, extensive dressings, or immobilization of the hands; hemodynamic instability; sedation; delirium; cognitive impairment that compromises the understanding of instructions; concurrent participation in another integrative and complementary therapy
