Age
18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy, university students are included, which have no prior knowledge about the usage of this current and its effects; 18 a 60 years of ago.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: They will be excluded from the sample individuals: peripheral nerve damage in the upper limbs, current pain, pregnancy, chronic diseases, cardiac pacemaker, epilepsy, allergy to the electrodes, in use of analgesics or current psychiatric, altered skin conditions or loss of sensation in the areas of placement of the electrodes and history of surgery on the forearm.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increased pain threshold by individuals pressure when stimulated by the active Aussie Current. For the evaluation, the pressure algometer will be used. And for verification the expected outcome, a variation of at least 5% in scales and test used pre and post intervention will be considered.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increase of cutaneous sensory threshold, increase the pressure pain threshold, reduction in perceived pain, increased conditioned modulation effect pain, reduction of temporal summation phenomenon, comfort account for electrostimulation. To measure these variables will be used the tests of esthesiometry, digital algometry, numerical scale of pain. From the observation of a greater variation than 5% in pre and post treatment.
