Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Signature of Consent Form and Free Clarified; diagnosis of hearing loss; good general health, so that they can be presented to the clinic for care; the same or more than 18 years; comprehension capacity to respond to the questionnaire.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Refusal to reply to the questionnaire; did not have comprehension capacity to answer the questionnaire.

| Translate and culturally adapt the Expected Consequences of Hearing Aid Ownership (ECHO) by the method of Guillemin et al. (1993), which include the translation of the English language into Brazilian Portuguese, linguistic adaptation and revision of grammatical and idiomatic equivalences as well as the evaluation of inter and intra-researchers reproducibilities of this questionnaire.;The questionnaire was translated, adapted and applied to 30 individuals.
