Age
12 Years to 17 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents, boys and girls, aged between 12 and 17 years; diagnosed of Anorexia Nervosa, typical or atypical (DSM-IV-TR, 2002); signed consent form (TALE)and authorization of one of the legal responsible for participation in the research, by signing the consent form (TCLE) regarding those responsible; with significant weight loss, marked by the decrease of at least a percentile below the expected for the age, based on the body mass index (BMI) curve for age, gender and compared to the patient's weight before disease onset.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who due to physical complications of the eating disorder needed to be hospitalized; those at risk of suicide; with psychiatric comorbidities, at the time of the first evaluation, priority in relation to the eating disorder in terms of treatment; diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorders; pregnant women.

Weight recovery based on the adequacy or improvement of the percentile expected for the age verified by the growth curve of Body Mass Index for the age of the World Health Organization, associated with decreased symptoms of Eating Disorder evaluated by decreased scores on the Questionnaire of examination for eating disorders applied in the pre-, post-intervention and follow-up.

Improvement in the Global Functioning evaluated by improved scores on the Global Child Function Evaluation Scale - CGAS, applied in the pre-, post-intervention and follow-up; Improvement in Self-esteem, evaluated by improved scores on the Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale score, applied in the pre, post-intervention and follow-up; Improvement of the Quality of Life, evaluated by improved scores on the Multidimensional Scale of Life Satisfaction for Adolescents - ESMVA, applied in the pre-, post-intervention and follow-up; Improvement of Motivation for change evaluated by improved scores on the Anorexia Nervosa Change Stages Questionnaire - ANSOCQ, applied in the pre, post intervention and follow up.
