Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcomes 1: From the proposed interventions (transcranial direct current stimulation associated or not with aerobic exercise), it is expected that there will be a reduction in the craving and cigarettes consumption;Observed outcomes 1: The results demonstrated that aerobic exercise, when associated with active transcranial direct current stimulation, was effective in promoting a reduction in craving and cigarette consumption ;Expected outcomes 2: Through the use of questionnaires applied before and after the interventions, it is also expected to find a reduction in brain reactivity during exposure to smoking cues, in addition to an increase in motivation to change smoking behavior.;Observed outcomes 2: It was observed that aerobic exercise associated with transcranial direct current stimulation reduced brain reactivity during exposure to smoking cues, in addition to increasing motivation to change smoking behavior. Therefore, it was observed that only when associated with aerobic exercise was transcranial direct current stimulation able to modulate positive effects on smoking | — |
