Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: People who are or are not participating in specific health care programs; present in the waiting room of the primary health care unit; or referred by a physician; minimum age of 18 years; both sexes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who withdraw from the assessments; present clinical or intellectual limitations that prevent the performance of functional tests; pregnant women

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Assess readiness for physical activity, verified by the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q), considering referral to a physician before starting the exercise program as a positive outcome;It is expected to identify the level of insufficient physical activity in the sample using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), considering as a cutoff point less than 150 minutes of physical activity per week;It is expected to detect sarcopenia in the elderly population through the Sarcopenia Screening Questionnaire (SARC-F) or the Sarcopenia Screening Questionnaire with Calf Circumference (SARC-CalF), considering as parameters SARC-F = 4 points or SARC-CalF = 11 points, associated with calf circumference = 34 cm in men and = 33 cm in women

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assess the presence of obesity in the sample using the Body Mass Index (BMI), with BMI = 30 kg/m² considered as the reference parameter;Identify abdominal obesity (AO) in participants by measuring waist circumference, with cut-off points of = 102 cm for men and = 88 cm for women
