Interventions

This is a crossover, randomized and single-blind study. The 22 participants will randomly perform one of the following three protocols: ischemic preconditioning with two cycles of limb ischemia (PCI2C
ischemic preconditioning with four cycles of limb ischemia (PCI4C)
ischemic preconditioning control (PCICONT). The three protocols will be separated by at least 7 days. The cuffs will be inflated at the same time on the upper and lower limbs using 100% of the Arteria

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy subjects; CrossFit practitioners; both genders; age between 18 and 35 years old; at least 1 year of practice; no history of metabolic, cardiovascular or locomotor system diseases that would contraindicate the practice of exercise and the use of vascular occlusion; Ankle Brachial Index between 0.91 and 1.30; respond negatively to all items on the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Present during the experiment any aggravating cardiovascular, pulmonary or musculoskeletal problems; not completing all the sessions proposed by the study; give up the same

It is expected to find differences between the long and short ischemic preconditioning protocols with regard to the training execution time determined in the research.
