Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Men and women; minimum age of 18 and a maximum of 60 years; participants with inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases in remission for 3 months; participants with the ability to walk independently; participants with no change in medication for at least 30 days prior to the start of the testing protocol; complete blood count, liver enzymes and inflammatory markers performed no more than 30 days ago
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of chronic or acute cardiorespiratory disease, except controlled arterial hypertension; acute pathologies that affect blood pressure and breathing; body mass index 35 kg/m2; cardiac arrhythmia that prevents measurement of cardiac autonomic control; anemia; smoking; previously diagnosed respiratory disorders and lung capacity below 80% of the value predicted by spirometry; severe postural deviation in the sternum or spine such as scoliosis, hyperkyphosis or hyperlordosis that influence the respiratory pattern; osteomyoarticular dysfunction that alters gait and requires assistive devices for walking
