Interventions

Control group: 20 children will be submitted to the application of fluoride varnish on a hypomineralized tooth. For this, the protocol will be followed: Supervised brushing
Surface drying with sterile gauze
Application of fluoride varnish according to the manufacturer
Instructions: Children will be advised not to drink liquids for 30 m, not to eat hard foods and not to brush for at least four hours after application
Reapply following the protocol described once a week for 4 weeks. Experimental group I: 20 children will be submitted to the application of titanium tetrafluoride varnish in a hypomineralized tooth, a
Drying of the surface with sterile gauze
Reapply following the protocol described once a week for 4 weeks. Experimental group II: 20 children will be submitted to application of light-curing bioactive varnish according to the following proto
Drying the surface with cotton rolls
Apply a thin layer of material to the surface and wait 3 seconds
Light curing for 10 seconds
remove material that has not been cured
Instructions: Ask the patient to avoid drinking beverages and food coloring for 3 days.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a difference in the effectiveness of Titanium Tetrafluoride Varnish 4% in the treatment of hypersensitivity of hypomineralized teeth when compared to the use of fluoride varnish and Barrier Coat ©, through the method of evaluation of hypersensitivity using three instruments: Facial Scale Wong-Baker (WBFS), Schiff Cold Air Sensitivity Scale (SCASS) and FLACC Pain Scale immediately after treatment and 1, 2, 4 and 6 months after treatment. We will observe whether or not there was an improvement in sensitivity after the proposed treatment.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
If there is discomfort reported by the children during the treatment received regarding the material taste, burning, aesthetics and time of the procedure, using a questionnaire.;If there are reports of satisfaction with the children and their guardians regarding the treatment received. We will evaluate this difference through a questionnaire, in which treatment will be rated 0 - excellent, 1 - good, 2 - acceptable or 3 - poor.
