Eligibility

Age
60 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged between 65 and 75 years; have not committed any type of regular exercise (more than 2 days per week) over a period of 6 months prior to study entry; have mild essential hypertension (stage I).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Have history or evidence of hematologic disease; peripheral vascular disease; stroke; obesity; diabetes.
