Interventions

Intervention Group: 50 Individuals received 1 vial of 30mL of 30% hydro-brandy solution with the following Bach Flower Essences: Impatiens, Cherry Plum, White Chestnut, Chicory, Crab Apple and Pine. I

Age
20 Years to 59 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy individuals; both sexes; literate; aged between 20 and 59 years; overweight or obese (Body mass index greater than 25 kg / m2); and with moderate or high anxiety according to the criteria of the State Anxiety Inventory (Score greater than 34).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who are taking medications to lose weight or control anxiety or depression; In psychological treatment and / or using other complementary therapies; in addition to women suspected of being pregnant or pregnant.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: Improvement of the anxiety score determined through the State Anxiety Inventory (IDATE). Data collected at the beginning and end of the study.

Secondary

Expected outcome 2: Improvement of the sleep pattern determined by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index; Data collected at the beginning and end of the study.;Expected outcome 3: Improvement of the episodes of binge eating determined by the Periodic Feed Compulsory Scale; Data collected at the beginning and end of the study.;Expected outcome 4: Decrease of resting heart rate determined by electrocardiogram and improvement of blood pressure levels determined with the aid of a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. Data collected at the beginning and end of the study.;Expected outcome 5: improvement of blood pressure levels determined with the aid of a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. Data collected at the beginning and end of the study.
