Age
5 Years to 9 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals who agree to participate in the research; as well as those responsible; have ages between 5 and 9 years; are present at the institution during the evaluation period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with antioxidant therapy; diabetics; congenital heart disease, nephropathy; individuals with systemic inflammation and / or severe disease that makes it impossible to perform the study; smoking individuals; those who make use of alcoholic beverages; individuals who are in some type of pharmacological therapy, including vitamins

Reduction of oxidative stress by the increase in antioxidant parameters of glutathione (GSH), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and superoxide-dismutase (SOD), as well as reduction of Malonaldehyde (MDA) of individuals with Down syndrome supplemented with coenzyme Q10 More zinc sulfate heptahydrate after 90 days of treatment.
