Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Reduction of post-exertional muscle fatigue. Evaluated by surface electromyography, by the median frequency of the electromyographic signal (FMS). Muscle fatigue is identified by FMS reduction. If there is no reduction greater than 15%, there will be a delay in muscle fatigue. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Improvement in post-exertional muscle metabolism. Evaluated by blood lactate dehydrogenase dosage. A reduction of at least 20% in blood lactate and oxygen consumption will be considered to accept the hypothesis that the laser produced a fatigue retardation effect. | — |
