Experimental Group 01: 20 patients who took 400 mg or their placebo one hour before the bleaching procedure. Experimental Group 02: 20 patients who took acetaminophen 500 mg or their placebo one hour

18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy anterior teeth and not restored; Tooth sensitivity up to Degree 2 in the Schiff index after an air jet; Absence of hypoplasia and teeth stained by fluorosis or tetracycline; having signed the Informed Consent Form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy; Lactation; To have a fixed orthodontic appliance; Have previous experience with tooth whitening; Have used any antiinflammatory drug in the last 15 days; have periodontal disease

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the Painful Dental Sensitivity before the first dental bleaching session, right after the first session and intervals of 8 hours in the first 72 hours after the procedure, using the adjective scale (highly satisfied, satisfied, partially satisfied, not satisfied and not at all satisfied ) and visual analog scale (measuring 100 mm anchored by the words “not at all satisfied” and “extremely satisfied)
