Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria adopted for participation in this research were soccer players from a professional soccer club; age between 14 and 15 years; in systematized training; no previous history of muscle injuries, no regular use of medications; have parental or maternal authorization to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria adopted for participation in this research were unavailability for participation in the assessments; in use of food supplementation; history of injury in the last 3 months.

Design outcomes

Mean difference between groups in repeated exercise protocol time of at least 14%.

Secondary

Attenuate by 10% the average power loss through time records of each sprint after the exercise protocol when compared to the placebo group.;Reduce by 10% the subjective perception of exertion measured by the Borg scale after the exercise protocol compared to the placebo group.;Reduce lactate dehydrogenase activity by 10% measured by biochemical serum dosage after exercise protocol compared to placebo group.;Attenuate by 10% the fatigue index measured by time records of each sprint after the exercise protocol when compared to the placebo group.
