Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Be regularly training in the judo modality with the aim of improving performance/results; Have a history of participation in sports competitions regulated by federations in the judo modality.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All volunteers who do not comply with the weighing protocols; report a limiting musculoskeletal injury in the inflammatory phase; are undergoing treatment with diuretics; report alcohol consumption on the day before or on the day of the weighing protocols; report any cardiovascular problem; or answer “yes” to at least one question of the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire – PAR-Q+ 2014 will be excluded from the study.

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate changes in the athletes’ knowledge and perception regarding appropriate hydration strategies, by comparing the responses to the hydration perception questionnaire administered before and after the rehydration protocol.
