Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults of all genders; between eighteen and eighty years of age; with hearing acuity; no history of neuropsychiatric disorders; no self-reported use of psychoactive substances; diagnosed with fibromyalgia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with arthritis; lupus; any autoimmune disease; use of a pacemaker; practice of sports or physical activity; with an injury in the last six months; pregnancy; uncontrolled diabetes mellitus; uncontrolled blood pressure; malignant tumors; hypersensitivity to light

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that, through the photobiomodulation protocol, an increase in cognitive functions (Focus; Speed; Fatigue; Precision; Sequencing; Time perception; Plasticity; Connectivity)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that, through the biophotomodulation protocol, there will be a decrease in pain perceived by the visual analogue scale and an increase in the pressure pain threshold, as well as an increase in quality of life and quality of sleep
