Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Volunteers over 18 years of age; who stays with the child most of the time; both sexes; who have Brazilian Portuguese as their native language; Children aged between 4 completed years and 5 years 11 months and 29 days; enrolled in the Municipal School of Early Childhood Education Tijucas do Sul
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Volunteers over 80 years of age; with reported vision or hearing problems

| Assess the oral conditions of children using the caries assessment method through the International Caries Detection and Evaluation System (ICDAS) and visible plaque through the Visible Plaque Index and Simplified Oral Hygiene Index, in phases T0, T2, T3 and T4; It is expected to find lower rates of dental caries verified through the International Caries Detection and Assessment System (ICDAS) and lower visible plaque scores verified through the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index in children whose caregivers participated in the experimental group. | — |
