Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Be at least 21 years of age; Have a diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux; Be willing to attend the sessions of the research protocol in full; Know how to read and write;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Present lesions on the skin in the region where the clay poultice will be applied; Patients undergoing recent gastroesophageal surgery (time less than 30 days), who present a surgical incision in the healing process and still under the effect of post-surgical drug therapy (analgesics, antipyretic and antiemetic); Use of topical medications in the region that compromise the application of epigastric cataplasm.
