Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 1- Improvement of 20% of respiratory and peripheral function after 24 intervention sessions. Through evaluation of the Peak of Respiratory Flow, Peak Flow of Cough, through Peak Flow, this evaluation occurs every day before and after the intervention.;Expected outcome 2- Improvement of 20% respiratory and peripheral muscle strength after 24 intervention sessions. Through monovacuometry to see inspiratory and expiratory muscle strength, Upper limb dynamometry to see manual grip strength, modified sphygmomanometer test to observe lower limb strength, muscle strength graduation from the Medical Research Council (MRC), to see muscle strength through evaluation, this evaluation occurs every day before and after the intervention.;Expected Outcome 3- Improved 10% of the biomarkers through laboratory tests performed by monthly collections of pre and post urea, creatinine, calcium, ionic calcium, phosphorus, potassium, TGP, glycemia, HBSAG, ANTI-HCV, arterial blood gases, albumin , hematocrit, hemoglobin, platelets, leukocytes, bilirubin; and quarterly collections of pre and post urea, creatinine, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, TGP, glycemia, HBSAG, ANTI-HCV, ANTI HBS, protein, serum iron, phosphatase, transferrin saturation, ferritin, arterial blood gas, ionic calcium, PTH , globulin, hematocrit, hemoglobin, platelets, leukocytes, bilirubin. All these values will be obtained by the routine exams performed in the Hemodialysis Sector. Tests performed once a month by the hemodialysis team. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 1 - Improvement of 15% of the organic function through the Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA), evaluating the variables of the Respiratory System (PaO2 / FiO2), Coagulation (Platelets), Cardiovascular (Hypotension), Fig (bilirubin), Nervous System Central (Glasgow Coma Scale), Renal (creatinine), seen through laboratory tests, exams are collected once a month by the hemodialysis team.;Expected outcome 2 - 15% Improvement in Quality of Life after 24 sessions, using the Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form (KDQOL-SF) quality of life questionnaire. These tests are applied before beginning treatment and after the 8 weeks of treatment. | — |
