Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteers of both genders; older than 18 years; that have at least 20 natural teeth in the oral cavity, being incisors and the superior canines without caries, restorations or prostheses.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and lactating;patients with systemic diseases; xerostomia; acid erosion; bruxism; mouth breathing; dental crowding; patients undergoing orthodontic treatment.

MeasureTime frame
To determine the efficacy of oral antiseptic with anti-stain copolymer; the effectiveness will be given by the ability of dental bleaching, the ability to reduce dental staining and the discomfort produced by the use of mouthwashes, verified by different methods of color analysis, modified Lobene's spotting index, dentin sensitivity, and of the reported side effects, both recorded by visual analog scale.

MeasureTime frame
Determination of the degree of satisfaction of the patient with the use of oral antiseptic; evaluated through the application of a questionnaire on the psychosocial impact of dental aesthetics (PIDAQ) on quality of life at the beginning and at the end of treatment.
