Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: > 60 years old, sensorineural hearing loss not greater than 60 dB between 250 and 4000 Hz), never used hearing aid before.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Research drop-out; score < 26 on Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) indicating neurocognitive abnormalities

MeasureTime frame
To assess the scores in NEUPSILIN Neuropsychological test (NEUPSILIN) after using hearing aids for 12 weeks (A and/or B group);to assess Long-term evoked auditory potencial (LTEAP) shortening after using hearing aids for 12 weeks (A and/or B group) Observed results: 1) better scores and 2) shorten latency times in LTEAP in both groups A and B.

MeasureTime frame
Better self-referred result while using hearing aids in as questionnaire as Speech, Spatial and Qualities of Hearing Scale (SSQ);Observed results: Patients in both groups A and B referred higher self-satisfaction regarding to hearing aid use when compared to C group.
