Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinical diagnosis of stroke; Chronic phase of the stroke; presence of left or right hemiparesis; both sexes; age greater than 18 years; present mental competence and present at least 10 degrees of wrist extension

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with hemiplegia or severe spasticity, degree of severe neurological impairment; in the use of a myorelaxant drug and to have applied botulinum toxin in the muscles of the paretic upper limb for less than six months of the research

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1 - activation of the relevant brain areas to perform a movement evaluated by electroencephalographic recording in the range of 8 to 30 Hz. Data collected 2 days before the intervention and 2 days after the intervention.;Outcome found 1 - Greater activation of the areas involved in the planning and execution of the movements after the intervention.

Expected outcome 1 - Reduction of the time spent to execute the task, evaluated by timing of the time spent in the execution of the proposed task. Data collected during each training session during the intervention.;Outcome found 1 - Reduction of the time taken to perform the activity after the intervention
