Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Individuals with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in the Nephrology Department of the Hospital for at least three months of hemodialysis; of both sexes; between 18 and 70 years old; in stable clinical conditions
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who will undergo kidney transplantation during the intervention period; who are unable to understand and follow the research protocols; people in wheelchairs; who have medical contraindications to performing physical and/or breathing exercises; those who do not agree to sign the free and informed consent form

Maximum expiratory pressure in the control group ranged from 99.5 (57–152) to 104.5 (55–158), with p=0.67, and in the intervention group from 94.4 (51–138) to 104.4 (73–139), with p=0.24.
