Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Being breastfed; Age equal or superior to 18 years; Protactile nipples with presence of pain and trauma in the nipple-aréolar region No use of any topical agent, shell or silicone intermediate in the breasts Be resident in the urban area of the municipality

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous history or presence of malignant pathologies in the breasts; Presence of pacemaker;Reporting of photosensitivity or any adverse reactions to exposure to sunlight; Presence of cognitive deficit

MeasureTime frame
Cicatrization of mammillary traumas caused by breastfeeding after low-level laser irradiation (LBI) where Intervention Group 1 received laser therapy directly on the breast, 1J at the center of the nipple and 3J around the artery and breast, and Group 2 received a systemic laser therapy where a bracelet attached to the pulley would stick the laser over the radial artery, emitting radiation for 30 minutes

MeasureTime frame
After irradiation of the low-intensity laser, the healing of the mammillary lesions caused by breastfeeding and consequently the reduction in pain reported by the patients during breastfeeding are expected. Healing will be observed by the daily measurement of the lesions and the pain will be evaluated through the mother's report when observing the Visual Analog Pain Scale
