Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: healthy volunteers; both genders; older than 18 years; chosen by the pregnant women to participate in delivery as companions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: volunteers with cognitive impairment that prevented them from understanding the orientations that were being addressed; be accompanied by pregnant women with fetal death; companions of women who presented obstetric complications that contraindicated the use of non-pharmacological methods of pain relief.

Primary outcome: performance of the companion during the parturition process

Secondary outcome: Increase of support activities for the parturient and reduction of insecurity in accompanying childbirth, measured through pre and post intervention questionnaires.
