Eligibility
Age
18 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; both genders; aged 18 to 65; with Class V cavities in at least two teeth; deeper than 1 mm; requiring restoration
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Volunteers who smoke; those undergoing orthodontic or periodontal treatment; teeth with grade 2 mobility; teeth that have undergone endodontic treatment; patients undergoing teeth whitening; presence of spontaneous pain characteristic of pulpitis; presence of periodontal disease; poor and unsatisfactory oral hygiene; use of extensive prostheses (fixed or removable); patients with severe bruxism and loss of vertical dimension; lack of posterior stability; patients with uncontrolled gastroesophageal reflux disease; patients with uncontrolled systemic and/or psychological conditions; patients undergoing treatment for osteoradionecrosis; patients with head and neck cancer who have received ionizing radiation; patients taking prescription medications that interfere with salivary flow
