Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It is expected that systemic photobiomodulation will become an alternative for reducing anxiety in third molar extraction procedures, using the Dental Anxiety Scale (DAS) method, before the start of the surgical procedure and immediately after the application or simulation of the systemic photobiomodulation. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It is expected that systemic photobiomodulation will become an alternative for pain reduction, improvement of the healing process and the patient's quality of life in the procedure submitted to third molar extraction, which will be assessed using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) before and after the procedure. For the healing process, we will use the Inflammation Classification Scale method, visual photography on the semi, 7, 14 and 21 days postoperatively. The Quality of Life results will be obtained using the Oral Health Impact Profile 14 (OHIP-14) questionnaire applied immediately postoperatively, 7, 14 and 21 days. | — |
