Eligibility

Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke 24 hours after the injury; both sexes; older than 18 years; able to remain seated without support; ability to move the affected limb against gravity (specifically, shoulder flexor and abductor muscle groups, elbow flexor-extensor muscles, and fingers)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previous stroke; partial or total anopsia; cognitive deficits; coordination disorders in the upper limb; amputation at any level of the affected upper limb

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increase in manual dexterity through the Box and Block Test, comparing the experimental group and the control group, expecting a difference of 20%;Evaluation of the usefulness of the Luth cell phone application in the control of data from the experimental group and the control group, through the System Usability Scale questionnaire, expecting an average score of 53

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of the level of physical mobility, variation of in-hospital physical mobility, physical mobility prior to hospitalization, length of stay and causes of non-evaluation and treatment termination, using the Luth application, comparing the experimental group and the control group. Within the application software, there is a physical mobility scale adapted from the study by Callen BL et al (2004) that presents a rating from 1 to 12, with the higher the value, the better the patient's mobility and the less assistance he needs to perform the tasks;Assessment of the level of disability after stroke, using the Modified Rankin scale, it can be graded from 0-6, the higher the value, the greater the disability, comparing the experimental group and the control group;Assessment of handgrip strength, using handgrip dynamometry using the Saehan® hydraulic dynamometer. 4 measurements will be carried out and the result will be given through the average between the last 3 measurements
