Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over the age of 18 years; both gendres; without impairment of general health according to medical history and physical examination; patients with indication of placement of dental implants in the region of bilateral mandibular molars selected through clinical and radiographic examination

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients classified as American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) III or American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) IV; use of anti-inflammatory drugs within 15 days prior to surgery; submitted to antibiotic therapy in the last 2 months; patients with tuberculosis, leukocytosis, collagen vascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, HIV infection, and other autoimmune diseases; pregnant and lactating women; patients with cognitive disorders that make it impossible to understand and execute commands; withdrawal of consent
