Age
6 Years to 16 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents aged 6 to 16 years; presence of molar incisor hypomineralization; presence of dentin hypersensitivity; parents or guardians who provided informed consent; participants who provided assent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with enamel defects not related to molar incisor hypomineralization; presence of extensive carious lesions in evaluated teeth; recent use of desensitizing agents; systemic conditions that may interfere with dentin hypersensitivity; uncooperative patients

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of dental hypersensitivity in teeth affected by hypomineralization (MIH/DMH/HSPM), assessed using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and the Schiff Cold Air Sensitivity Scale (SCASS), after application of the Refix/Booster system.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Impact of the intervention on oral health-related quality of life, assessed using the Child Perceptions Questionnaire (CPQ) during the follow-up period.
