Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria will be: individuals of both sexes, aged eighteen or older, diagnosed with ST-segment elevation acute myocardial infarction with clinical and hemodynamic stability.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria will be: hemodynamic instability; AMI with Killip Classification III and IV; angina after AMI; refractory hypertension with levels above 180X110 mmHg, malignant ventricular arrhythmias; inability to perform assessment or protocol for cognitive and / or neuromusculoskeletal causes.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Functional capacity, assessed by the six-minute walk test, comparing the improvement between groups at the end of the protocol.;Improvement of peripheral muscle strength assessed by the Medical Research Council scale and hand grip strength, assessed by digital dynamometry, comparing gain at the end of the protocol.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Length of hospital stay, assessed by the number of days in the intensive care and hospital setting, comparing between group.;Functional status, which will be assessed through the ICU Functional Status Scale (FSS-ICU), comparing gain between groups at the end of the protocol.
