Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Primary outcome: As a primary outcome, we will evaluate the impact of therapies on the peripheral nervous system, analyzing muscle strength, sensitivity and neural palpation, for this we will use the Simplified Neurological Assessment (ANS) scale. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| As a secondary outcome, we will evaluate neuropathic pain through the visual analog scale;Physical functionality, through an activity limitation and safety awareness screening (SALSA);The electrical conductivity of some peripheral nerves (ulnar nerve: the electrodes are positioned over the abductor muscle of the fifth finger; median nerve: the electrodes are placed over the abductor pollicis brevis muscle; radial nerve: the electrodes are positioned over the extensor muscles of the wrist; common peroneal nerve: electrodes placed over the tibialis anterior muscle, responsible for ankle dorsiflexion; posterior tibial nerve: electrodes over the extensor hallucis longus muscle), evaluated through electroneuromyography ;muscle oxygenation and blood perfusion, which will be evaluated through near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS);Local body temperature through thermography. | — |
