Age
40 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnostic confirmation by clinical examination or image examination; Neer positive test; Hawkins test positive; pain during resistive isometric abduction; pain during passive or isometric lateral rotation resisted; pain during active shoulder lift; pain in the palpation of the rotator cuff tendons and pain in the region of the C5 and C6 dermatome.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bilateral pain; age less than 40 years; pregnancy; systemic pathologies; physical therapy less than 3 months before the evaluation; signs of total rupture or acute inflammation of the rotator cuff; cervical spine-related symptoms; instability of the glenohumeral joint and history of fracture or surgery in the affected limb.

To verify the Quality of life before the Group Physiotherapy intervention through the application of the Brazilian Version of the SF-36 Quality of Life Questionnaire; ;Verify the functionality of the affected limb before physiotherapeutic intervention in the group through the Modified Shoulder Classification - UCLA instrument; ;To verify the psychological commitment to pre-intervention physical therapy in the groups through the instrument Hospital Scale of Anxiety and Depression;

To verify the Quality of life after the Group Physiotherapy intervention through the application of the Brazilian Version of the SF-36 Quality of Life Questionnaire; at that time the instrument score will be evaluated according to a paired design, testing the pre and post effect. ;Verify the functionality of the affected post-intervention group physiotherapeutic intervention through the Modified Shoulder Classification - UCLA instrument; at that time the instrument score will be evaluated according to a paired design, testing the pre and post effect. ;To verify the psychological commitment after physical therapy intervention in the groups through the instrument Hospital Scale of Anxiety and Depression; at that time the instrument score will be evaluated according to a paired design, testing the pre and post effect.
