Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers, consumption of more than two doses of alcohol ((greather than 20 mL) per day, type 1 or 2 diabetic or glucose intolerant, family history of type 1 or type 2 diabetes, recent changes (within less than three months) in diet or physical activity habits.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of the postprandial response verified by the visual analog scale before (time 0) and after eating hamburger in the immediate consumption times, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, 210 and 240. The improvement will be verified if there is statistical significance ( p <0.05) in the comparison of the areas under the curve between treatment A (ingestion of hamburger added 10% of golden flaxseed flour, treatment B (hamburger ingestion added 20% of golden flaxseed flour and treatment C (hamburger without added flaxseed flour).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increase in satiety measures and reduction in hunger and willingness to eat 240 minutes after eating hamburger plus golden flaxseed flour, evaluated by visual analogue scale method. The measurements were performed acutely, every 30 minutes counted from the consumption of the hamburger
