Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with kidney stones; confirmed by imaging; age between 18-60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women; individuals with current urinary tract infection; cystinuria or other monogenic diseases; inflammatory bowel disease; primary hyperparathyroidism, severe liver disease; and current use of supplements or vitamins

MeasureTime frame
Among nutrient intake, the SF group should presented higher intake of protein (PNA), total fat (%energy) and sodium (mg) and lower intake of total and animal calcium (mg). Moreover, this group should also presented lower intake of fruits, low-fat dairy and sweets servings and higher intake of vegetables, nuts, seeds and legumes servings than the Non-SF group.
