Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the outcome of this clinical research will be an improvement in masticatory function and that the impact on the quality of life of these elderly people will be positive. To visualize the outcome, these patients, who use conventional full dentures, will be rehabilitated with a central implant in the mandible and, therefore, will use a removable implant prosthesis. To measure how much this type of rehabilitation has positively impacted patients, objective and subjective quantitative instruments will be used, such as the application of tests and questionnaires that present numerical scale. The comparison will be made before and after rehabilitation, and from the finding of a variation of at least 5% will be given as different from the initial.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
As a secondary endpoint, the fracture index, maintenance and repair of this type of rehabilitation will be evaluated after the installation period.
