Eligibility

Age
60 Years to 79 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: individuals aged 60 to 79 years; Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH); Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI); Encephalic Vascular Accident (EVA).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Under 60 and over 79; without some related pathology in the inclusion criteria; to have bipolarity and schizophrenia

The data demonstrate that the risk of suicide in the elderly community is not an uncommon factor and that this increases with age, absence of partner and mood disorder, however the gender and some clinical variables differ from that expected for other age groups

It is also necessary to take into account the addictions that many elderly people carry throughout their life, such as smoking, which can aggravate the depressive condition when it is withdrawn due to health problems
