Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: absence of any health-related conditions; no use of nutritional supplements for at least three months, including the duration of the study; non-smokers or drinkers; participation in national and state competitions in recent months; ability to complete a 10-km run in less than 60 minutes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: consumers of cashew juice, cajuína, or any other product containing polyphenols such as grape, red wine, and cocoa; myotendinous injury during the study

Expected outcome 1: Expected to find beneficial changes in lipid peroxidation, verifiedby means of oxidative stress markers, after ingestion of cajuína juice.;Outcome found 1: No positive effect was observed in markers of oxidative stress, verified by the MDA method, albumin and uric acid, between cajuína and placebo.
