Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Three evaluations will be performed, the first one before treatment, the second after the end of treatment and the last evaluation 30 days after the end of treatment. The expected results are that electromagnetic irradiation (LED therapy) when used alone or associated with the occlusal (PL) plaque may be able to decrease the inflammatory, painful and painful stimuli of the masseter and temporal muscles by decreasing the intensity of the observed pain By the clinical examination of muscle palpation and the Analog Pain Scale (VAS). Increase the range of mandibular movements observed by measuring the mouth opening in millimeters. Modulate the electrical activity of the muscles in individuals with TMD of myogenic origin (without joint involvement), using the mean square root (RMS) and surface EMG. | — |
