60 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Be 60 years old or more; Do not show signs of cognitive impairment; Do not have a depressive or suspected depression; Have an interest in participating in the cognitive training workshop for the duration of the same; Do not have severe visual impairment without optical correction; Not having severe hearing loss; Be literate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who do not meet the inclusion criteria, and do not know how to read and write, as well as people with extreme difficulty in seeing and hearing even with the best correction.

It is hoped that the research will make it possible to identify benefits in the cognition of healthy elderly in the case group participating in the cognitive training workshop, analyzed through the application of the Loewenstein Dynamic Cognitive Assessment of Occupational Therapy - for the elderly Brazilian population, from which it is expected obtain an increase of 85 to 95% in the score and consequently it is speculated a reduction in the levels of mediations to one or none in each evaluated domain, which includes: orientation, awareness, visual perception, spatial perception, praxis, visomotor construction, operations of thought, and memory.;Regarding quality of life, it is expected that the group will show an increase in scores, reaching a score above three, or scores in each facet between 90 to 100%, weighted by the application of the World Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire, BREF and OLD version.;It is also expected that there will be an improvement in the engagement and occupational performance investigated by the applications of the Self-Assessment Scale of the Occupational Functioning and focus group strategy, when compared to the control group, thus making it possible to observe that in addition to the improvement in cognitive performance after participating in the workshops , there may also be an influence on quality of life and performance of occupations, based on the observation of a positive variation in the pre and post intervention measurements.;Finally, an increase of at least 5% in the scores of each domain is expected (orientation, awareness, visual perception, spatial perception, praxis, visomotor construction, operations of thought, memory, quality of physical, psychological, social relations and environment environment, occupational functioning in relation to personal causality, values, interests, roles, habits, skills and environment) evaluated by the instruments in the comparison of the case and control groups, pre and post wo
