Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria; patients with intra-aortic balloon, surgical reintervention, death, valvopaths, previous pneumopathy, who did not understand the way of performing the proposed techniques, presented hemodynamic instability during the evaluation or application of the cycle ergometer and physical limitation, such as amputation, which compromised the performance of the exercises.
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The patients were submitted to the walking test preoperatively and on the day of hospital discharge comparing the values caused by the cycle ergometer in relation to the distance traveled in the walking test in elderly patients undergoing myocardial revascularization | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| MIP, Max, vital capacity and peak flow were also evaluated using manovacuometer, ventilometer and peak flow instruments | — |
