Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with clinical and histological diagnosis of Bowen´s disease at the Department of Dermatology of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with allergy to medications under treatment; porphyria; pregnancy; lactation; lesions in area of difficult sun exposure; lesions with clinically-suggested invasive carcinoma.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
complete response rate 3 months after treatment with daylight-photodynamic therapy evaluated with clinical and dermatoscopic picture by a blinded dermatologist.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pain score acessed by analog pain scale during the procedure , weekly until one month after first treatment and 3 months after treatment;Local skin symptoms acessed by symptom´s questionnaire during the procedure , weekly until one month after first treatment and 3 months after treatment;Patient satisfaction acessed by questionnaire after 3 months of treatment;Cosmetical result acessed by questionnaire after 3 months of treatment;Association between complete response rate with clinical and demographic data;Association between complete response rate with day climate and weather
