Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD); who have completed, within the past month, a 12-week physical training program involving resistance and aerobic exercise, with or without behavioral change strategies; aged 50 years or older; of both sexes; who have been clinically stable for the past four weeks; undergoing medical follow-up with pharmacological treatment; who agree to participate in the study and have signed the informed consent form
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants undergoing treatment for malignant neoplasms; with rheumatic, neuromuscular, orthopedic, or visual disorders that prevent physical training; with decompensated cardiovascular or respiratory diseases that hinder the performance of tests; and participants who choose to withdraw from the study

| It is expected that there will be maintenance of exercise capacity (assessed by the six-minute walk test) and dyspnea (assessed by the modified Medical Research Council - mMRC scale) verified by means of the difference between the final and initial assessment (delta), without reduction of values ??below the minimum clinically important difference of 30 meters in the walk test and one point on the mMRC scale, for the group of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who perform the maintenance program once a week, at the end of three months and at the end of six months of follow-up. | — |

| It is expected that quality of life (assessed by the St. George's Questionnaire), physical activity level (assessed by accelerometry), and absence of exacerbation and hospitalization will be maintained in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the end of three months and at the end of six months of follow-up. It is also expected that motivation for physical exercise (assessed by Behavioral Regulation in Exercise-3) and perception of the environment (assessed by the environmental perception scale) may influence the results of exercise capacity and physical activity level after the program for both groups. | — |
