Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Will be included older patients who wanted to participate in the research will be included; need for endodontic intervention or extraction for primary endodontic infection; presence of periapical injury

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not agree to sign the free and informed consent form; used antifungals, analgesics, anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics in the last 3 months, with endodontic lesions associated with periodontal disease, secondary endodontic infections, teeth with spontaneous pain, root fracture, pulp chamber exposure, impossibility of absolute isolation, curved channels, atresics. or calcified.

It is expected that the individuals involved in the research will have their endodontic treatments performed and teeth extracted without recovery, ensuring the removal of foci of infection generating improvement in oral health, general and quality of life. The project will allow research to be developed in this line by the researchers involved, in addition to obtaining important data in the literature, which will be sent for publication in international scientific journals and congresses.
