Age
8 Years to 14 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; both genders; age between 8 and 14 years; permanent molars with non-cavitated visual caries lesions located between the enamel and dentin junction and the middle third of the dentin (ICDAS 3 and 4).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Volunteers with physical and mental problems; systemic diseases and that use medication in a controlled way. Patients who present with periodontal disease, or who in teeth submitted for the intervention present restoration or cavitation in any of its surfaces; or that present a painful sensation to any type of stimulus.

MeasureTime frame
Inhibition of caries disease progression in patients submitted to treatment with glass ionomer sealant incorporated into 45S5, verified by means of interproximal radiography.

Reducing the risk of developing caries disease in patients in the experimental group, being observed by the cpo-d of the patient
