Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women; adults (19-44 years old); obese (defined as a Body Mass Index> 30 kg / m²); who are willing to lose weight; who have been weight-stable for at least 1 month at the time of inclusion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: individuals using chronic medicine (anti-diabetic, antihypertensive, antiretroviral, immunosuppressive, diuretic); with a pacemaker; that present edema and/or ascites; pregnant or lactating and has not performed any surgical intervention for weight management.

Changes in body mass index (kg/m²), obtained by the quotient of weight per the height in meters, after 21 days, 4 months, 6 months and 12 months of treatment.

Differences in the basal metabolic rate, in kcal, measured by indirect calorimetry, after 21 days of treatment.;The subjective sensation of hunger, measured by a visual analogue scale from 1 to 10, at the beginning of the intervention.;Changes in the percentage of body fat, estimated from electrical bioimpedance, after 21 days, 4 months, 6 months and 12 months of treatment.;Change in fasting biochemical profile of glycemia, insulinemia, leptinemia and thyroid hormones (TSH, free T3, free T4) after 21 days of intervention.;The evaluation of the degree of difficulty in fulfilling the proposed food plan, on a Likert scale of 0 to 10 to predict difficulty, after 21 days of intervention.
